[Bug 2072157] [NEW] Pointer speed changes everytime after suspend
Public bug reported: Every time I log back in after suspension, the speed of the pointer changes. What changes is not the slow-fast setting in the "pointer speed" bar but the actual speed of the pointer. I am using a Lenovo Nano laptop and the trackpoint in the keyboard to control the pointer, with the touchpad deactivated. [Bug 1958191] Re: [i915] Screen flickering in Ubuntu 22.04 (until i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=2 are added)
Following up on this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1958191/comments/16 Booting with 5.15.0-25-generic and the i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=2 configs seems to fix the issue on my hardware. 5.15.0-27-generic won't stop shaking randomly no matter what value I test on intel_idle.max_cstate. It seems to get worse when there are many windows on the screen or something is zoomed in/out. For example, on shopping sites like aliexpress, hovering with the mouse on the product normally spawns this window with the zoomed product, I noticed that this caused a lot of shaking. Reading stuff, especially with images seems to cause it more regularly as well. However, watching videos was fine all the time. I can also confirm that the kernel 5.13.0-20-generic works without an issue with the same hardware as some of my work colleagues have the same machine running Ubuntu 21.10 with that kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1958191 Title: [i915] Screen flickering in Ubuntu 22.04 (until i915.enable_dc=0 intel_idle.max_cstate=2 are added) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1958191/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1786922] Re: Unity keyboard shortcuts stopped working after update
After searching on the web, I've found the information that this may have been caused by compiz deactivating plugins. So I suspect that it has deactivated: 'desktop wall' and 'grid'. I've enabled them back and this seams to restore functionality. Can someone confirms me the cause andd the solution? If the cause was this, how can I find the issue that led compiz to do this? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1786922 Title: Unity keyboard shortcuts stopped working after update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1786922/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Christopher M. Penalver, I have not had availability to test version 18.04 on a new disc but I have more information: - After updating the packages xorg-serverhwe... I decided to test the Open Source drivers again and got improvements. - Due to these improvements and to the system crashing less, I detected a pattern in the crashes. [Bug 1746638] Re: Nouveau graphics driver freezes and crashes
Once again, it's impossible capture before reboot. The system crashes tottally. > In addition, because you haven't tested latest packages and then provide > useful logs, upstream developers aren't going to be focusing on your issue. > Some log you grabbed years ago from an old distro isn't useful. I tested in live and crashes and do not stored any logs, it's the reason why I didn't upload. I can't do it in a production machine. > Some log you grabbed years ago from an old distro isn't useful.
