But with 24-Jan-2013 Ubuntu AMD 64 Bit image and with 'nomodeset' option (because since 12.04 live system hangs with noveau drivers and my videocard) IMHO it doesn't matter. @Shan Anand, your workaround didn't work for me :( What I did: 1. boot from USB to Live image 2. Open Terminal 3. run command 'ps -ela' 4. find rsyslogd 5. run command: 'sudo kill ' (PID of rsyslogd) But rsyslogd starting again in a moment with another PID. If I run 'sudo rsyslogd -c5 -i -d' there will be 2 processes of rsyslogd and killing the system one starts it again. And installer hangs again... Yes, you right. But we are talking about default settings of Gmail box and specifically about "Important" tag. And in this case almost every inbox mail is tagged as "important". And here we have this duplicate problem... You are trying to tell me that it is not possible on client side to make 1 notification for specifically this default "Important" tag (folder)? Or maybe make an option in the Thunderbird settings to combine 1 notification from inbox folder and 1 from "Important" folder. Public bug reported: Almost all messages from Gmail boxes are duplicated in the message- indicator. Fox ex. I receive a message on my Gmail box from Launchpad. It is duplicated in my Inbox folder and "Important" folder (see screenshot). It is also duplicated in the message-indicator and when I read this message in my Inbox folder it is not marking as read and still showing in message-indicator, Thunderbird windows and Thunderbird icon on the Unity panel. If I delete this message - in will be deleted from the "important" folder also. The problem is on any Gmail boxes and on any PC and laptop where I have installed Ubuntu. Okay... I was using gnome-shell for the first time and don't know exactly the normal behaviour of windows in it. But it seems to be no problem in it. What I have done: 1. Opened boinc-manager in a full view. 2. Opened Nautilus, Writer, qBittorent. 3. Minimized boinc-manager by clicking on a "close" button in the right up corner. 4. Switched to another windows and started to close them. Boinc don't came up. But in Unity there is a problem. About your personal drop... It won't work? As you can see - it is not maximized to a global menu as it should be. I have it only with Boinc and Figaro's Password Manager.
