[Bug 1797974] [NEW] cursor is always white

2018-10-15 Thread Dmitry Zotikov
Public bug reported:

Tilda's cursor is always white regardless of the selected color scheme.
That means if the background is white, the cursor is not visible; if
black -- the character under it is not visible. However, if a palette
(Tango, Linux console, ...) is chosen, the color gets set properly, but
only for the current run. After tilda is restarted the problem
persists.

[Bug 1207808] Re: Sound volume level doesn't grow linerly

2013-08-17 Thread Dmitry Zotikov
Ok, so the problem is not with alsa-driver - when I change the volume
level with alsamixer, the actual volume changes as expected. Rather, it
is Unity's sound level applet.

In alsamixer, there are three main items: Master, Headphone and PCM.
When I drag the slider of the graphical applet from 0 to approximately
60%, it first changes the "Headphone" level; after that the actual
"Master" level is changed.

That doesn't make any sense! I don't want the "Headphone" level to be
changed at all.

The Target Package in the bug description has to be changed, but I don't
know what to.

[Bug 1207808] [NEW] Sound volume level doesn't grow linerly

2013-08-02 Thread Dmitry Zotikov
Public bug reported:

Changing the sound level in the range 0-75% corresponds to only a slight
change in the actual volume, but changing it in the remaining range
(75-100%) changes the volume very rapidly. Very annoying.

[Bug 424648] Re: "Error: ssh program unexpectedly exited" when trying to browse files on router

2013-04-22 Thread Dmitry Zotikov
Hey,

on the server side, try to specify the full path to the sftp-server
binary explicitly in the sshd's config file. In Debian that would be:

Subsystem sftp/usr/lib/openssh/sftp-server

Worked for me at least.
