[Bug 912488] Re: [Dell Inspiron 14z (N411z)] Turning Bluetooth off turns Wifi off

2014-05-26 Thread Donald Lhoëst
apport information

** Tags added: trusty

** Description changed:

  Well,

Whenever I try to turn bluetooth off, the airplane mode kick in.
Afterward, I can switch that mode off but it is only after using the
function key on my keyboard... Then and only then my wireless is back up
  (with Bluetooth, of course)

  Thank you in advance !

Anyway, thank you Scott Draper for the grub-repair-cd it worked perfectly well

Please admins fix this ASAP, as much as I love Ubuntu this is quite the

[Bug 1289977] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 Update breaks grub, resulting in error: symbol 'grub_term_highlight_color' not found

2014-05-24 Thread Donald Lhoëst
Happened to me too... Pain in the butt I might add :)

Anyway, thank you Scott Draper for the grub-repair-cd idea it worked perfectly
well for me too at first try.
Please admins fix this ASAP, as much as I love Ubuntu this is quite the
glitch...

[Bug 658675] Re: Turn off Bluetooth also turns off wifi

2011-12-31 Thread Donald Lhoëst
Problem is still present. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 14z with a clean
install of Ubuntu 11.10 and Gnome3.

Turning off Bluetooth puts the computer into Flight Mode and therefore
shuts Wifi down. The only way to connect back is to turn the flight mode
off, turning Bluetooth on and only then wifi.
