[Bug 771326] [NEW] qemu-system-arm segmentation fault when not giving -m parameter
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: qemu-kvm To reproduce this bug, try following: qemu-system-arm -M versatilepb -kernel zImage #without -m Segmentation fault. qemu-system-arm -M versatilepb -m 128M -kernel zImage # with -m succeed ** Affects: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771326 Title: qemu-system-arm segmentation fault when not giving -m parameter -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
[Bug 771339] [NEW] qemu-system-arm stopped while loading images resulted from buildroot
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: qemu-kvm To reproduce this issue: Create kernel image and cpio rootfs from buildroot 2011.02 using qemu_arm_versatile_defconfig then try following from buildroot top directory: qemu-system-arm -M versatilepb -m 128M -kernel output/images/zImage -initrd output/images/rootfs.cpio.gz -nographic Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel. Then stopped endlessly. When using older kernel version (I did not try all possible version, but I picked 2.6.27.58) the resulting image can be loaded. Workaround: Install Qemu 0.14.0 from source, buildroot images can be loaded and run normally. ** Affects: qemu-kvm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to qemu-kvm in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771339 Title: qemu-system-arm stopped while loading images resulted from buildroot -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
