[Bug 1442863] Re: dell inspiron touchpad stops working
My laptop is up for 3 days now without this issue. I have Viber installed here and I suspect the problem happens when it is running. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1442863 Title: dell inspiron touchpad stops working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1442863/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1442863] Re: dell inspiron touchpad stops working
I am experiencing the same issue on a Dell Inspiron 15 with a touch screen (kubuntu 14.10 and also with 15.04). Here, I can get touchpad working again if I touch the screen once. The touchpad gets alive again, but the touch screen stops working completely. I tried to compile kernel 4.0.4, but it did not solved this issue.
[Bug 1308154] Re: wxmaxima 13.04.2-2 fails to get some keyboard inputs
Hi, I decided to compile WxMaxima 13.04.2. I had to install libwxgtk3.0-dev, but the problem persisted. Then I removed libwxgtk3.0-dev and installed libwxgtk2.8-dev, and recompiled Wxmaxima and now it seems just fine (although it is now in English -- when installed from repo it was according to my system language, that is Portuguese-BR). I hope this can be helpful. [Bug 885031] [NEW] Thunderbird does not remember opened tabs in a new session
Public bug reported: When restarting the system, or after login, Thunderbird should remember the opened tabs, but it does not. However, if I quit Thunderbird and then launch it again, it does remember the tabs. Also, after a session logout and login (without rebooting the system), launching Thunderbird makes the system goes back to KDM login screen. I have tried the solution to bug #876762 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- intel/+bug/876762), however, it solved the problem of launching Thunderbird making the system go back to KDM login screen. However, Thunderbird can still not remember the previous opened tabs. This is a little annoying if you keep messages to read later. Any clue? Best wishes. [Bug 594463] Re: Gnome Panel Freeze
Hi, I also have this issue. It is really annoying because the clock also freezes, and a lost the time! :-/ I have noticed, until now, that this happens only when the panel is in the "not expanded" mode. However, I will work the next days in the expanded mode to make sure this is true. I also can reproduce this bug by initiating empathy from the panel (by the small envelop icon). It is also easy the see what is happening with g-eyes in the panel. Note, this is a important bug, since I have noticed it is present is the 10.10 (beta) version of Ubuntu.
