Hello,

My ubuntu version is intrepid.
Regarding gvfs-mount: the disc was not mine so I cannot test it at the moment.

[Bug 319188] [NEW] When reading an Opendisc audio CD, I must eject twice

2009-01-20 Thread Eric BREHAULT
Public bug reported:

When I insert an audio CD which uses the Opendisc standard (
http://www.opendisc.net/ ), it is properly recognized, and 2 volumes are
mounted (see screenshot1): the CD itself (as any CDROM), and the
Opendisc volume.

It makes no problem, but when I want to eject the disc, if I right-click
the CDROM volume on my desktop, and select "Eject", the Opendisc volume
is unmounted, but not the CDROM volume, so I have to right-click it and
select "Eject" again and then the disc is really ejected.

[Bug 164326] ability to use existing partitions to install Ubuntu

2007-11-21 Thread Eric BREHAULT
Public bug reported:

When installing Ubuntu, in the disk partitioning step, the user can choose:
- use entire disk
- automatically use free space
- manual partitioning

When you install Ubuntu to replace an existing Linux install, it would
be nice to be able to replace an existing partition without using the
manual mode: the wizard would show the list of the existing partitions
and the user would just have to pick the one he/she wants to overwrite
to install Ubuntu.

Note: Mandriva 2008 does provide this feature and it is quite handy.

[Bug 164315] Disk partioning menu error

2007-11-21 Thread Eric BREHAULT
Public bug reported:

When installing Ubuntu 7.10, in the disk partitioning step:
- a menu offers several partitioning possibilities (use entire disk, automatic,
manual)
- if the user chooses to use automatically free space,
- and if there is not enough space available on the disk
- the install wizard reports correctly this space issue to the user
- but when the user click the Back button, it goes back to the initial
partitioning menu but the entries are not correct anymore (apparently there is
one entry for each word)
