I do, although the Num-Pad even without Num-Lock-Lights are shown
neither in my Keyboard nor in gkrellm. Afair i had to set Numlock - from
always on to off and after some updates i had to switch to always-on again.

Is there any possibility to check that?

Hi out there!

Sorry for being absent and did not move for such a long time. Paul, i
added your recommended files to the tgz-file twice:

A) working with 2.6.20
B) no work with 2.6.22-14

The Kobil seems to be listed but cannot used by libct-api. Don't know
why this happens.

I have installed Kubuntu with all four 'needed' packages ooo-gnome,
ooo-gtk, ooo-kde and mozilla-ooo and soffice only starts if i downgrade
to the previous libgtk2.0.0-2.10.x.

Any solution?

I installed all four packages and got a negative result with latest
libgtk-2.11.x. When running libgtk2 10.y there is noch problem with OOo
but many broken packages.

regards,
Erik.

dpkg -i libgtk2.0-0_2.10.11-0ubuntu3_i386.deb =;-) I presumed to
download this file first.

Re: [Bug 128211] openoffice does not start

2007-07-26 Thread Erik Harren
Hi folks!

When starting OOo2 with libgtk2...2.10.11 OOo is doing fine, but some
dependencies are expected to be broken.

If i'm starting soffice i get the error-messages - but OOo2 starts fine:

---8<---8<---

(process:11179): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **:
/build/buildd/glib2.0-2.13.7/gobject/gtype.c:2242: initialization

Does anyone know about a solution?

regards,
Erik.

Re: [Bug 128211] openoffice does not start

2007-07-26 Thread Erik Harren
Hi folks!

I found a work-around in the net:

Just reinstall libgtk2.0-0_2.10.11-0ubuntu3_i386.deb and install it with
'dpkg -i libgkt' . This will superseed version 2.11.6 (afaik) and
OOo will work again.

Greetings,
Erik.

As it is for me, i'm able to test it with matrox G650D and thinkpad
R60's ATI-Device (tested with public and proprietary device drivers). I
agree in pointing to libraries.

greets,
Erik.

[Bug 128228] secure card reader don't work with 2.6.22-x

2007-07-25 Thread Erik Harren
Public bug reported:

I'm running variuos secure card terminals for HBCI-banking (Kobil and
Reiner SCT)which don't do anything in gutsy with delivered kernel
2.6.22-7/8.

I need to run them with libctapi and moneyplex. When running gutsy-
kernels i cannot establish any usb-device (e.g. /dev/ttyUSB0 for Kobil
B1 pro USB). When running Feisty-kernel-image 2.6.20-x everything
(Kobil) is doing fine. Reiner SCT is only shown when running lsusb twice
very shortly.

Greetings,
Erik.

[Bug 128211] openoffice does not start

2007-07-25 Thread Erik Harren
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When starting soffice i'll get the following messages, soffice will not
come up and has to be killed:

---8<---8<---
(process:1025): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **:
/build/buildd/glib2.0-2.13.7/gobject/gtype.c:2242: initialization assertion
failed, use IA__g_type_init() prior to this function

(process:1025): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_once_init_leave: assertion
`initialization_value != 0' failed

(process:1025): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_screen_get_font_options: assertion

All dependencies are fullfilled - OOo2.2.x worked already before.

Erik.
