[Bug 859259] Re: uid, gid, forceuid, forcegid seem to be ignored in smbmount on oneiric 11.10 beta2
Supposing abc is a user on my system, when I set uid=abc, gid=abc, the share is mounted as root:root. However, I've noticed that if I set only gid or uid (but not both) to abc, then the permissions are applied except on the opposite field: gid seems to be assigning the user and uid seems to be assigning the group. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/859259 Title: uid, gid, forceuid, forcegid seem to be ignored in smbmount on oneiric 11.10 beta2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cifs-utils/+bug/859259/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 658786] Re: Shadows not rotated on a vertical panel in Maverick
This bug still affects me on Natty. I installed Natty by performing an upgrade on my previous Maverick install and am using Gnome by selecting Ubuntu Classic on logon. I've attached a screenshot depicting the bug under my current configuration in Natty. ** Attachment added: Screenshot-6.png https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/658786/+attachment/2203355/+files/Screenshot-6.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/658786 Title: Shadows not rotated on a vertical panel in Maverick To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/658786/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 348540] Re: Cannot play OGG vorbis streams: pa_stream_proplist_update() failed: Not supported
I can confirm this bug in maverick (amd64). It is extremely annoying because it prevents me from using rhythmbox to play my music. My server is running windows and so I can't upgrade the version of pulseaudio on the server because the only binary version available seems to be 0.9.6. -- Cannot play OGG vorbis streams: pa_stream_proplist_update() failed: Not supported https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/348540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 658786] [NEW] Shadows not rotated on a vertical panel in Maverick
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Issue: I have one panel placed vertically along the left side of my screen (with auto-hide). While the actual text seems to rotate properly, it seems like the shadow of the text is not rotated and is rendered horizontally. See attached screenshot. Expected Behaviour: The shadow of the text is also rendered vertically, beneath the text. Details: I am currently running Maverick (10.10). I did a full install from the live CD (wiped my previous system partition). I have used the vertical layout with the panel previously in Lucid, Karmic, and Jaunty and this is the first time I've seen this issue. [Bug 658791] [NEW] Clock window appearing outside of screen when panel is vertical in Maverick
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel Issue: I have one panel arranged vertically along the left side of my screen. The clock applet is placed on the top of the panel (thus on the top-left corner of the screen). When I click on the clock to get the window with the calendar, timezones, etc., it appears completely off-screen (I see the shadow of the window appear at the top of my screen). It seems that, instead of the top of the window being aligned with the top of the screen, the *bottom* of the window is aligned with the top of the screen. Expected: The calendar/time-zone window should appear with the top of the window aligned with the top of the screen so that the window is completely within screen bounds. Details: I have used this layout previously in Lucid, Karmic, and Jaunty. This is the first time I've seen this behaviour. Seems like a regression to me. I upgraded by wiping my partition and performing a full install from the Maverick AMD64 LiveCD. [Bug 464175] [NEW] Broken shared library dependency for skyeye in Karmic Koala
