My Machine: System: Dell Latitude D420 OS: Gutsy up2date Kernel: 2.6.22-11-generic Wlan-Card: 0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02) I always have to the following steps to get a working network-manager after first login 1. Login -> network-manager crashes with the attachend bug report 2. sudo killall wpa_supplicant 3. sudo /etc/dbus-1/event.d/25NetworkManager restart and then Network-Manager works like a charme for login time, after reboot you have to do the same procedure. Change in a subdirectory that contains no german umlauts and/or a "_" mc never go to if(subshell_alive) { ... } in function void do_subshell_chdir () { } and there string subshell_cwd and string current_panel->cwd are the same 2.
