[Bug 427805] Re: usb_find_devices() crashed with SIGSEGV in free()
@Eric: your package worked for me, on a Macbook Pro 5,5 (amd64). I had the bug, installed it then suspended and it worked (didn't work before). I think it would be good to get this patch to the official repos. -- usb_find_devices() crashed with SIGSEGV in free() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/427805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 567132] [NEW] Blinking cursor for 15 seconds on MacBook Pro
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sysvinit With Lucid, I get a blinking cursor (console mode, on the top left) for most of the boot time. The logo is then only visible for 2 or 3 seconds. With Karmic I had the logo much earlier. It's just a visual problem but it doesn't look great, and some user could wonder if the computer actually works during the time the blinking cursor is showing. It's a MacBook Pro 5.5 with an nvidia chipset, see dmesg attached. ** Affects: sysvinit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Blinking cursor for 15 seconds on MacBook Pro https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567132 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 451257] [NEW] Use a 128x128 icon as the app icon
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird Currently, Thunderbird uses a 64x64 icon. It's ugly in apps such as Gnome-Do, or in a gnome-panel in a big size. [Bug 276159] Re: SCIM stops working in Firefox
Conor: this bug was only for GTK applications, I don't use KDE but believe it never stopped working (with SKIM). Regarding this bug in general, it's now fixed for me from a software update. [Bug 196904] [NEW] with compiz, wrong colors in the workspace manager
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz This is with Gutsy, and the Human theme. I have an nvidia card with the proprietary driver. Compiz version: 1:0.6.0+git20071008-0ubuntu1.1 Without Compiz, windows in workspaces other than the current one show as gray. This is good. But with Compiz enabled, they show as dark brown, just like unselected windows in the current workspace. It makes it difficult to tell which workspace is the current one by looking at the workspace manager.
