[Bug 14135] Re: Grub Install Failure
Yesterday I used netboot install of the Karmic beta-version . Have a server set up with tftpd and http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/karmic/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/netboot.tar.gz . It's a thin-client with a small flash-thingy inside (512 mb). Installed the beta on a usb-disk (/dev/sdb). Both Grub2 and Grub refused to install on it. I tried to instal them as master boot record (/dev/sdb), but no luck. LiLo worked. Let me know if you need any hardware- or other type of info about the system. -- Grub Install Failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/14135 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 224195] Re: Deluge crashed when starting up.
Ok, tested it on Alpha6, it seems the setup has changed a bit, so this is not a part of the desktop-ui anymore. Tested: & deluge -ui web and I get a webpage on http://localhost:8112 Also tested while running the desktop GUI: no problem. Sorry, figured it out. I'm subscribing to those two now, so I'll figure out. I'll test again when those bugs are out, but is it any way of getting an auto-message on when they are? Best regards, Espen On lø., 2009-03-07 at 15:34 +, Hew McLachlan wrote: > Thanks for testing. [Bug 224195] Re: Deluge crashed when starting up.
Hi Hew, I've just installed Jaunty from netboot (http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/), but got a problem. When trying to install deluge I get a dependency error on the python- libtorrent package. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this or work around it so I get to test Deluge?
