[Bug 1822380]

[Bug 1797417]
Bug 14936 is almost certainly a duplicate of this one. I'm not sure what's going on in bug 14186. With compositing enabled, there should be no issues with tray icon backgrounds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797417 Title: Background of system tray icons not drawn properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xfce4-panel/+bug/1797417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1797417]
Just to note that the above fix caused serious breakage in some applications when using a compositor. [1] I reverted it in Arch for now. :\ [1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1280#note_384582 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797417 Title: Background of system tray icons not drawn properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xfce4-panel/+bug/1797417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1797417]
Should be fixed in GTK+ 3 (gtk-3-24 branch, will be in 3.24.2) and in Arch with gtk3-3.24.1+155+g4c8fcd6a6f-1. Unless Andreas was seeing this with GTK+ 3.22 or older, I don't believe there is anything to fix on Xfce's side.
[Bug 1738439]
The minimum might need to be bumped to 600 ms. 500 ms cuts a bit too close and doesn't work for me. Using the tooltip.c example from [1], the tooltip appears if I use 500 ms on my desktop and 501 ms on my laptop. And even though 500 ms works with tooltip.c on my desktop, xfce4-systemload-plugin still needs a bump to 0.6 because 0.5 doesn't work. [Bug 1512120]
Created attachment 6531 Clang's ThreadSanitizer seemingly useful report I compiled Thunar (1.6.10git-6407141) with clang and -fsanitize=thread and it seems to have found the race that causes these crashes. FTR, Firefox 36.0.1 has restored the -remote option as it broke many use cases without any real benefit. [Bug 1077970]
Unfortunately, this patch breaks invocations such as the following: $ exo-open --launch TerminalEmulator screen -S test The resulting error is: Failed to execute child Failed to execute child process "screen -S test" (No such file or directory) The expected outcome would be to open a terminal emulator window that executes the command "screen -S test". 'exo-open --help' confirms that this behavior is indeed incorrect: = Else, if you specify the --launch option, you can select which preferred application you want to run, and pass additional parameters to the application (i.e. for TerminalEmulator you can pass the command line that should be run in the terminal). = At least the changes to xfce4-terminal.desktop.in.in need to be reverted. Created attachment 6022 Don't quote arguments passed to terminal emulators This is my proposed patch. It basically reverts the quoting changes made to all terminal emulator helpers except for Sakura which weirdly enough doesn't work without quotes. I briefly checked all terminals except the Debian one and nxterm, and they behave correctly after the patch. If I remember correctly, qterminal and xterm also worked fine with quotes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1077970 Title: exo-open fails when html filename contains spaces To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/exo/+bug/1077970/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
