I don't use that camera anymore, but I think I tested this a while ago
and it worked. I am marking it as Fix Released.

[Bug 336162] [NEW] dbus returns wrong idle time

2009-03-01 Thread Even Nedberg
Public bug reported:

Running Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE4.2.

When I run
sleep 20; qdbus org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver /ScreenSaver
org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver.GetSessionIdleTime

I get different return values each time (I am not using the
mouse/keyboard). I never get 20 as a return value. Before I upgraded to
KDE4.2 I got correct values.

Expected result: The qdbus call should return 20
Acctual result: The qdbus call returns values from 0-19, mostly low values
To reproduce: Run the command in konsole/terminal under KDE4.2

If Amarok is running (I use this qdbus call in a Amarok script) then the
return value is always 0, but it also happens when Amarok i closed.

** Affects: ubuntu
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 253818] Re: gmail login procedure changed

2008-08-07 Thread Even Nedberg
This package has been updated in Intrepid (to version 0.5.7.5). Is it
possible to backport it to Hardy? Also version 0.5.7.6 is available,
should we wait for that to hit Intrepid?

[Bug 162343] Re: Intermittent Video Playback Issue in Gutsy with NVIDIA restricted driver

2007-12-27 Thread Even Nedberg
It has nothing to do with wine, I don't have it installed. It has
nothing to do with compiz, I don't have that installed either. I am
pretty sure it has to do with the Nvidia driver. I also found this

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/299600

I am using the 100.14.19 driver from the nvidia-glx-new package. I have
not tried to roll back to 100.14.11...

[Bug 144398] Re: Can not set any hotkey using XF86Mail

2007-10-22 Thread Even Nedberg
I have the same problem.

It is solveable by
sudo mv /usr/bin/kmail /usr/bin/kmail.old
and the creating a new /usr/bin/kmail with the desired effect.

This is no god idea though...

Same goes for XF86Calculator and SpeedCrunch. Probably some of the
mediabuttons to, but they control Amarok as I want it to so that is not
a problem for me.

[Bug 117767] digiKam imports images with wrong filename from EXIF

2007-05-30 Thread Even Nedberg
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: digikam

When I import images from my Canon IXUS 850IS using the add date and
time option all my images get the wrong filename.

If a is picture taken 2007-05-30T19.05.06 it will get then name
2007-05-30T20.05.06. The hour is wrong by one. I have trien changing the
timezone and daylight saving settings on my camera, but it did not help.
Only thing that helps is setting wrong the time on the camera. The EXIF
information is correct in the image, and digiKam can read this
correctly.

I live in Norway (GMT+1), this might be the cause for this...

[Bug 117767] Re: digiKam imports images with wrong filename from EXIF

2007-05-30 Thread Even Nedberg
Well, it does indeed happen to me. I just tried on a second computer
with a new install of Feisty. Same problem!

But what is even stranger is that the same problem exists with my cell
phone (Sony Ericsson W800i), but with this camera the time is two hours
off in the other direction! This also happens on my second computer.

It does not matter what time format I use, the error is the same. EXIF
time is correct, but digiKam gives the images a different name!
