[Bug 2067945] Re: Restart after resume from suspend
I tried "systemctl suspend" and it reproduced the issue right away. It must be the command that gnome shell's menu is triggering. So, I will keep using pm-suspend as a workaround until the issue is fixed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2067945 Title: Restart after resume from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2067945/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 2067945] Re: Restart after resume from suspend
I will need to test it longer to be sure, but the issue seems not to happen when suspending using "sudo pm-suspend" command from gnome- terminal (the command is from pm-utils package).

[Bug 998360] Re: 07ca:a815 af9015: random detection issue
I tried with oneiric live on usb for more than 10 days without reproducing. I figured out that the issue pretty occur on colds boots (and resume from suspend/hibernate). I never had the issue again in precise while it was booted by restarting from oneiric. Then, after finishing the oneiric testings, when the problem occured in precise i tried to restart instead of unplugging and it worked too. Then i ran new tests with latest saucy live : It never works, even unplugging several times. I saw a new error message af9015 did not find the firmware file and found a track here with google : http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-906892-start-0.html Do you insert the device before or after the filesystem is mounted. If the driver is built-in and you insert it before the filesystem is mounted (read: the device is there at boot), it's impossible for it load the firmware, because it's on the yet-to-be-mounted filesystem. but i don't know what to do to check is it is the problem, or how to change the moment when the firmware is loaded. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998360 Title: af9015: random detection issue To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/998360/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
