[Bug 1722256] Re: Wifi connection status icon shows a "?" question mark when connected
I recently realized that the problem with the Wi-Fi icon will be resolved by adding a VPN configuration from Network Settings and connecting to it. After that, the problem will be fixed forever. Even without connecting to the VPN. Also, after logging off, the problem will not come back. But restarting and shutting down the system will bring the problem back. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1722256 Title: Wifi connection status icon shows a "?" question mark when connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell-legacy-bugs/+bug/1722256/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1824692] [NEW] Question mark within the Wi-Fi icon
Public bug reported: I had two problems with Ubuntu 18.04 and earlier. 1. Question mark within the Wi-Fi icon after connecting to the internet. 2. Question mark within the battery icon after the battery is fully charged. I tested the 19.04 version right now and realized that my problem with the battery icon was fixed. But my problem with Wi-Fi icon is still there. It should be noted that there is no problem with connecting to the Internet, and I have full Internet access and there is only a question mark within the Wi-Fi icon.
