Have this problem:

slbquista@slbquistaPC:~$ sudo apt-get install libebml4
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  libbasicusageenvironment0 libcddb2 libcrystalhd3 libdvbpsi8 libgnutls28
libhogweed2 libiso9660-8 libproxy-tools libresid-builder0c2a libsidplay2
libssh2-1
  libtar0 libupnp6 libva-x11-1 libvcdinfo0 libvlc5 libvlccore7
libxcb-composite0 libxcb-xv0 vlc-data
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following NEW packages will be installed
  libebml4
0 to upgrade, 1 to newly install, 0 to remove and 0 not to upgrade.

trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libebml.so.4', which is also in
package libebml3:amd64 1.3.0-0~ppa0
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libebml4_1.3.0-2_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

And the problem with that is that VLC requires libebml4 to work, or update or
some thing for me so I don't know what to do.
sudo apt-get install -f comes up with the same error, only when I have VLC
installed though, as with it uninstalled the dependency on libebml4 is not
there and so no broken package.

Can any one help please? Thanks.
