[Bug 867424]

2020-05-08 Thread Firefox-3
I'm guessing libsm/libice won't work on wayland?

Looks like we might be able to get shutdown (but not logout) support
from systemd.

[Bug 1843044]

2019-12-19 Thread Firefox-3
Alternatively to patching this, what is the modern way to enable FIPS in
Firefox? I found these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-
US/kb/Configuring%20Firefox%20for%20FIPS%20140-2 but no matter what I do
I can't get FIPS enabled - nor will "Enable FIPS" not be grayed out in
Security Devices.

[Bug 1575555] Re: Chrome/Chromium use "Thin" as default font weight

2018-02-22 Thread Firefox Fix
An instructive post. People to really know who they want to reach and why or
else, they’ll have no way to know what they’re trying to achieve. People need
to hear this and have it drilled in their brains..
Thanks for sharing this great article.

Commenting out the line OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity; in

I presume this bug will not be like

around a year.

If Firefox is to have a 29.0.0.1 release can I suggest that PDF Printing
be fixed

[Bug 480671]

2014-02-16 Thread Irgend-firefox
I found the related line in the code: It's in LoginManagerContent.js at
line 643. https://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-
central/source/toolkit/components/passwordmgr/LoginManagerContent.jsm#643

It checks deliberately for the lowercase username. Last edit was by
dol...@mozilla.com on #839961 but this was just a refactoring. I don't
know enough git blame to get the actual author.

[Bug 356687] Re: Firefox has ALSA/Pulse Audio issues when playing flash video

2009-07-21 Thread Firefox
I had this problem too with Ubuntu 9.04 x64 and Firefox 3.5, downloaded
from mozilla.com, but not with Firefox 3.0.x shipped with Jaunty.

Previously mentioned solutions haven't worked for me but I solved the
problem by replacing $HOME/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so with a
symbolic link to /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so.

cd $HOME/.mozilla/plugins
mv libflashplayer.so libflashplayer.so.bak
ln -s /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so
