[Bug 1550779] Re: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
If someone else has those issues with a USB-C Dock (Thunderbolt 3) I got rid of the issue by using the latest mainline Kernel: 5.1.0-050100-generic #201905052130 SMP Mon May 6 01:32:59 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux and the following Kernel config settings (/etc/default/grub): GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=" quiet splash intel_idle.max_cstate=4 i915.enable_psr=0 i915.enable_dc=0 i915.enable_fbc=0 i915.enable_dp_mst=0" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1550779 Title: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1550779/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1550779] Re: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
Since I'm also facing this bug I just want to confirm that the error also occurs on the latest mainline Kernel (5.1) and also on the current drm-tip kernel version (5.1.0.0994 from https://kernel.ubuntu.com /~kernel-ppa/mainline/drm-tip/2019-05-05/) I'm trying to use an additional monitor on my X380 Yoga using an USB-C Dock. During the boot process the error message appears: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO After the boot process the monitor is sometimes enabled, but only a couple of seconds. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1550779 Title: [drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1550779/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
