[Bug 2027904] Re: LibreOffice Snap extremely slow to launch.

2024-07-15 Thread Frank IJskes
See also: #2071778

Some programs fixed the slow loading by switching compression algorithms
to lzo. Much faster but a bit bigger images, maybe that would work here
as well?

[Bug 2071778] Re: libreoffice calc is slow to load, always 8 seconds

only now find that it is a duplicate of #2027904
Except there is no mentioning of the compression algorithm in #2027904

[Bug 2071778] [NEW] libreoffice calc is slow to load, always 8 seconds

2024-07-03 Thread Frank IJskes
Public bug reported:

Since i started using snaps for libreoffice (after upgrading to ubuntu
24lts) calc starts terribly slow. It takes 8 seconds. If i close calc
and restart calc it takes again 8 seconds. It used to be least half that
time, and restarting was almost instantaneous.

Some research suggests that other snap programs that experienced this
and changed the algoritm for compression from xz to lzo fixed it. Maybe
this is also the case here?

Public bug reported:

[Bug 181218] Large filesize in winefile shown as negative size

2008-01-08 Thread Frank IJskes
Public bug reported:

I have large files (3467674112 bytes and larger), and they are reported
as -,827,293,184 in size.

I think this is an overflow (and i guess the long should be changed to
an unsigned long?)

[Bug 61039] Re: No desktop entries

2006-12-14 Thread Frank IJskes
installing menu-xdg and enabling the debian view solves part of the
problem

Perhaps a dependency from sgt-puzzles to menu-xdf should be added?
