Hi, I believe I have same bug on my DELL Latitude 5490. It is impossible to wake up from lock (it works only if I wake up the computer in the first 5 seconds), suspend and hibernation. The screen remains black, the fan is working, but the computer does not respond and has to be shut down by pressing the power button for a few seconds. Everything works fine in Ubuntu 18.04.3, but the bug exists in Ubuntu 18.04.4 and 20.04. For the moment I am back to 18.04.3. The -ssl2 option is an important tool for users to verify SSLv2 has been disabled on a particular service. For this reason alone I strongly recommend re-enabling this functionality. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm Hello, Here is my problem. We have tens of desktop computers with Ubuntu 7.10 installed on them. Since a few weeks, when we try to connect to a server with XDMCP (after having chosen "Actions > Remote login via XDMCP..." from the gdm logging windows), the xdmcp chooser appears and after clicking on a remote host its fails coming back to the gdm logging windows. No logging window from the remote host appears. The only thing that can have change on these desktop computers is that apt-get update and apt-get upgrade are made automatically. So I've downgraded gdm from version 2.20.1-0ubuntu1 to version 2.18.1-0ubuntu1 and xdmcp works fine again. I think that the automatically upgraded version of gdm (2.20.1) is buggy.
