[Bug 224404] Re: MTRR is not properly setup on Intel Northbridge Chipset (P35, X38, X48) with more than 3GB RAM and with Memory Remapping Enabled
Same here, using 8.10 rc with intel p35 chipset, 4gb ram and fglrx driver, everything works! [Bug 48389] Re: KMail slows down while typing an e-mail
i have a very similar problem with kubuntu intrepid (beta). Typing gets really slow in new message editor. it seems the delay is getting worse the more words or even letters i type. this happens at least with spell-checking enabled, but without i still have a delay much longer then in other - even qt/kde4 applications. for example typing in kopete is a lot faster. -- KMail slows down while typing an e-mail https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/48389 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 270718] [NEW] [intrepid]hdaps deamon fails to start recent thinkpad
Public bug reported: After a fresh install, hdapsd, the ibm thinkpad harddisk protection deamon fails to start. i have to manually edit /etc/defaults/hdapsd / /etc/init.d/hdapsd and change to parameter "DISK" to sda intead of HDA. Then HDAPSD will start, but warm me about some fallback mode things. I just wonder: would on most laptops today and with recent kernels the device name always be SDA instead of HDA? then change this line would to better user experience for most users. ** Affects: hdapsd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: After a fresh install, hdapsd, the ibm thinkpad harddisk protection deamon fails to start. i have to manually edit /etc/defaults/hdapsd / /etc/init.d/hdapsd and change to parameter "DISK" to sda intead of HDA. [Bug 222344] Re: dragon player cannot play my DVD-iso's or avi's
DVDs dont work for me either with dragon player. I use a fresh alpha 5 install ( plus all updates until now). After installing xine-ui, dvd playback works again. I also installed libdvdcss2 from medibuntu. -- dragon player cannot play my DVD-iso's or avi's https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/222344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
