[Bug 365633] Re: DVD+RW PHILIPS PBDV824DP not detected by nautilus and is not mountable
At the end of the comment trace it says Fix Released. Where is the fix? Is it in the latest kernel? Or is it going to be included in the next release of Ubuntu? After upgrading to Jaunty with much pain (together with loss of data), I would like to get my DVD/CDROM writer working. It is working with Ubuntu 7.04 and 8.04. 9.04 is so broken unfortunately because I have found so many issues on the net regarding 9.04. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released = Invalid ** Converted to question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+question/80579 -- DVD+RW PHILIPS PBDV824DP not detected by nautilus and is not mountable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 177159] Re: XFS library
This does not only happen to the an installed GUTSY system. The same problem happens on the LIVE CD too. I have 3 partitions on a brand new Samsung 500 gig hard disk. Two of them formatted in ext3 and one xfs. I was having the same problem with my XFS parttion and thought that I would be able to fix it by reformatting. I booted it with the Gutsy LIVE CD and reformatted it. The same problem occurs as soon as I mount it. I have now reformatted it to ext3 but I am disappointed because I want to use xfs for MythTV. Interestingly I also have AMD64 system. Maybe it is AMD64 issue. I do not have time to rebuild my system using 32bit Gutsy to find out whether it also happens to a 32bit system. -- XFS library https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177159 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
