[Bug 855036] Re: Writer won't print single/first page
OK, I finally created a *new* account and committed the bug to bugs.freedesktop.org. Here's the link: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41116 I know this isn't the place for this rant, but it baffles me the incredibly complex and convoluted bur reporting system Linux has. Just to submit this simple bug I had to create 2 new accounts in 2 different sites, read quite a bit to understand what I was doing and finally I was confronted with an internal server error (when the bug report site reports it crashed and asks you to report a bug, you con only laugh): FreeDesktop Bugzilla has suffered an internal error. Please save this page and send it to sitewrangl...@lists.freedesktop.org with details of what you were doing at the time this message appeared. URL: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/post_bug.cgi A legal Version was not set. I lost count of the many times KDE's automatic crash report system *crashed* on me just randomly or because it attempted (and failed) to download a gazillion Mb of gods know what before it could send the bug report. I understand KDE, LibreOffice, Ubunut, etc, are all different things but if this system could be polished, simplified and integrated, you'd be getting tons more of bug reports from not-advanced users such as myself. When I mean simple, I mean something like 'chromium' (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/list) Sorry, I had to say it. Cheers. ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #41116 http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41116 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855036 Title: Writer won't print single/first page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/855036/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 855036] Re: 'Write' won't print single/first page
I think any document will do, but I'll attach one anyway. If I try to 'Print' this document it shows 0/0 pages. ** Attachment added: "test.odt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/855036/+attachment/2435430/+files/test.odt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/855036 Title: 'Write' won't print single/first page To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/855036/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 614993] Re: 10.04 -> 10.10 upgrade fails: pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks: xserver-xorg-video-v4l demoted to universe
Hi Bruno, 'plasma-netbook' is not installed in my system Only 'libplasmagenericshell4' is installed (whatever that is) I have several external repositories instilled (ie: burg, docky, qbittorrent, google, dropbox, medibuntu, jdownloader, etc..), maybe those have something to do with this issue? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/614993 Title: 10.04 -> 10.10 upgrade fails: pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks: xserver-xorg-video-v4l demoted to universe -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
