[Bug 843306] [NEW] df ignores fs type none in options
Public bug reported: df appears to ignore the filesystem type "none" when specifying options on the command line. Some example output: gecko@magina ~> df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/sda2 16018264 5669900 9534672 38% / none 2020908 652 2020256 1% /dev none 202863268 2028564 1% /dev/shm none 2028632 440 2028192 1% /var/run none 2028632 0 2028632 0% /var/lock /dev/sdb6457072296 42896024 390958336 10% /home [four different "none" systems] gecko@magina ~> df -x none Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/sda2 16018264 5669900 9534672 38% / none 2020908 652 2020256 1% /dev none 202863268 2028564 1% /dev/shm none 2028632 440 2028192 1% /var/run none 2028632 0 2028632 0% /var/lock /dev/sdb6457072296 42896032 390958328 10% /home [would expect "none" systems not to appear] gecko@magina ~> df -t none df: no file systems processed [would expect only "none" systems to appear] I have no idea on whether this behaviour is intentional, however I do know that it causes a minor bug to appear in the munin package - the df plugin is unable to ignore a bunch of filesystems even though it is configured to do so by default. [Bug 559226] [NEW] Compaq Presario V5000 fails to resume from suspend
Public bug reported: The model of laptop is a Presario V5099EA. After being put in suspend- to-RAM, either through the GUI or by closing the lid, the laptop will not fully resume. The drives and fans spin up, however the screen does not switch on, and through a little bit of blind typing I don't think the OS is responding to keyboard input either. I am borrowing this laptop from a friend, and I've been told that suspend *has* worked in the past in Ubuntu. Unfortunately though this laptop has been in a cupboard for a while and she doesn't know for which version suspend last worked. Problem occurs using both the 2.6.32-19-generic kernel currently in main repos and using a mainline build: 2.6.34-020634rc3-generic. I'm willing to help solve this but I've never built my own kernel before so if that's the next step to take I'll need more instructions :) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: linux-image-2.6.32-19-generic 2.6.32-19.28 Regression: No Reproducible: Yes ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-19.28-generic 2.6.32.10+drm33.1 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-19-generic x86_64 AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.21. [Bug 172458] Conflict between Audigy 4, mdadm software raid and networking
Public bug reported: I am tentatively reporting this here since the bug appears to be specific to my Audigy 4, and does not appear when on-board sound is used instead. Ubuntuforums threads: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=61 http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=622389 To summarise what is in the above two threads, my system will hard lock when the Audigy 4 is in use for playback, the software raid is being accessed, and any ethernet port is connected to the network (though not necessarily in use). Sound card is a Creative Audigy 4, OEM edition (so no breakout box or remote control). [Bug 141425] Re: mpd fails to start if music_directory is on NFS
Confirming this, where the directory has been set directly using .mpdconf rather than symlinks. The music is located on a dmraid device on an NTFS partition. ** Changed in: mpd (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- mpd fails to start if music_directory is on NFS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141425 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 109458] GTK "Save as" dialogues behave strangely after Feisty upgrade
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: blackbox I'm having trouble discovering the exact conditions that lead to this bug, but here is what I have and what I know - This bug does not occur in Gnome, only when using Blackbox as the window manager (other wms may be affected - haven't tested) Occurred after upgrading from 6.10 to 7.04 I have two computers displaying the same behaviour Both are also running the Murrine GTK engine - possibly related, however even when using this engine under gnome problem does not occur Problem occurs when accessing the "Save as..." dialogue in any GTK app - so far found in firefox, gaim, gimp, gvim etc. When the dialogue is called up, I assumes it spawns using GTK's default dimensions, and then quickly proceeds to change size back and forth between the original size and with a right border about 50px towards the screen, i.e. it alternates sizes. This happens very rapidly and quickly consumes all CPU time. This has the side effect of making it impossible to actually save the file. I've tried running these apps through the console but there is no output to suggest anything is wrong. I'm not used to bug hunting so feel free to tell me what to do if you need more info. ** Affects: blackbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- GTK "Save as" dialogues behave strangely after Feisty upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
