[Bug 918765] Re: the file '/etc/xdg/Trolltech.conf' is in two packages
Marmus, thank you. Your suggestion worked for me. I upgraded to 12.04 and Skype was still working, then after some packages got updated, it got uninstalled (I did not even notice how it happened). After that I had this problem and could not install it. reinstalled libqtcore4, it removed a bunch of i386 packages. After that I used ubuntu software center to install Skype. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/918765 Title: the file '/etc/xdg/Trolltech.conf' is in two packages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qt4-x11/+bug/918765/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 424771] Re: gnome-desktop-environment has Broken packages in Karmic
stevewin is right. I have assembled only the minimum set of packages enough to manage Ubuntu Karmic server on EC2. Small and medium-high-cpu EC2 AMIs have only 1.7G RAM. This makes it critical to have a desktop that consumes minimum amount of RAM. Also, bells and whistles greatly slow down VNC, FreeNX, so desktop must be as plain as possible. -- gnome-desktop-environment has Broken packages in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424771 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
