[Bug 573919] Re: autofs doesn't work with lucid
Someone have an idea on how start autofs on boot with upstart??? I have a server with 9.10 and 10.04, the first is ok, the second no. The solution with the "start on never" and adding "service autofs start" in the file /etc/rc.local works, but is very very worst under the sysadmin's point of view... I'm very tired about this kind of problem in ubuntu...no support, but someone continue to change the configuration of the system on every new release, and break the system!!! I'll start to move out from my datacenter any installation of ubuntu, isn't possibile to follow this kind of distrubution that is worst after every new release... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573919 Title: autofs doesn't work with lucid -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 385545] Re: Smbind config.php points to wrong smarty path by default
Ok i understand that this package was taken as-is from the debian repo, but in the debian distribution, the smarty package put the lib in a dir called 'lib' under /usr/share/doc/smarty/ (http://packages.debian.org/lenny/all/smarty/filelist). The problem start on ubuntu because the smarty package are different from debian package, http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/all/smarty/filelist, in this package, the smarty lib is directly under the dir /usr/share/doc/smarty/, so this issue is only un the ubuntu. Please change the package with a different config file that point on the correct dir for smarty package. Simply change on the file config.php this variable: $_CONF['smarty_path'] = "/usr/share/php/smarty/libs"; #Debian configuration TO $_CONF['smarty_path'] = "/usr/share/php/smarty"; #Ubuntu configuration Thank you a lot (when you'll resolve this bug... :-P ) -- Smbind config.php points to wrong smarty path by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385545 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: keepalived The actual version (1.1.17) of keepalived in Ubuntu 9.10-amd64 have a big problem, silently the package was build without the LVS support so if you put some configuration dedicated to balance some servers, the keepalived daemon simply ignore it without any warning. This is a big problem because no warning and no information about this change wasn't present... This is my configuration: cat /etc/keepalived/keepalived.conf global_defs { notification_email { keepalived-oper } notification_email_from keepalived-oper smtp_server 127.0.0.1 smtp_connect_timeout 30 router_id FWLVS1 } vrrp_instance VI_OUT { interface ethOUT state MASTER virtual_router_id 9 priority 250 authentication { auth_type AH auth_pass keep } virtual_ipaddress { 172.22.100.9/24 172.22.100.12/24 172.22.100.13/24 } preempt_delay 300 } virtual_server 172.22.100.12 80 { delay_loop 10 lb_algo wlc lb_kind NAT persistence_timeout 120 persistence_granularity 255.255.0.0 protocol TCP quorum 1 real_server 192.168.69.20 80 { weight 1 TCP_CHECK { connect_port 80 connect_timeout 3 } } real_server 192.168.69.21 80 { weight 1 TCP_CHECK { connect_port 80 connect_timeout 3 } } } if i run the daemon with the --dump config this is the output: Dec 15 12:52:33 fwlvs1 Keepalived: Starting VRRP child process, pid=1762 Dec 15 12:52:33 fwlvs1 Keepalived_vrrp: Registering Kernel netlink command channel Dec 15 12:52:33 fwlvs1 Keepalived_vrrp: Registering gratutious ARP shared channel Dec 15 12:52:33 fwlvs1 Keepalived_vrrp: Opening file '/etc/keepalived/keepalived.conf'.
