[Bug 358970] Re: gscan2pdf distorts image with scanimage.pl frontend, but works with scanadf frontend
I have been using gscan2pdf infrequently for years without any issue. Two days ago, without any changes in configuration, my scans appear skewed. This is true for both 0.9.27 from Jaunty and 0.9.29 from the Launchpad. I narrowed it down to the x-perl frontends. The following frontends are available to me: libsane-perl -- produces skewed output scanimage -- works fine scanimage-perl-- produces skewed output scanadf-perl (did not try) scanadf (did not try) Per Jeff Ratcliffe's suggestion, I tried the "test" backend with libsane-perl and it works fine, both for the grid and colour output. I am using an HP LaserJet 3330 with HPLIP. -- gscan2pdf distorts image with scanimage.pl frontend, but works with scanadf frontend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358970 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155137] Re: pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port
Everything seems to work on Intrepid. I agree that the bug should be closed. -- pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155137 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155137] Re: pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port
David Desrosiers, developer of pilot-link, commented on the pilot-link General List that he runs Gutsy "with a kernel I built from Linus' git tree on 9/23, and it works great, very solid (with my T3, Treo 650 and Treo 680)." So this is probably a kernel issue. -- pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155137 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155137] Re: pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port
I can confirm that after upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy (a) libusb no longer works (b) adding usbfs support does not fix the problem (c) reverting to the visor module _does_ work for me I would be happy to troubleshoot. -- pilot-xfer fails to connect to usb port https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155137 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 66313] Re: Calendar does not synch with palm device
I used the source from codeyard, _not_ the source deb from edgy. My steps: 1) apt-get remove --purge kpilot 2)apt-get build-dep kpilot apt-get install kdepim-dev (kpilot depends on kdepim-dev but the dependency is not enforced, so you need to install it separately) 2) download, compile, install following the instructions in codeyard.net and vcal syncing worked. --george -- Calendar does not synch with palm device https://launchpad.net/bugs/66313 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
