[Bug 558300] Re: [gnome-network-properties] Adds an extra ", " at end of $no_proxy-variable

2010-04-09 Thread Gernod Winter
I am not shure which application is responsible for setting the
$no_proxy environment variable, but if you go "System->Settings->Network
Proxy" (I hope this are the menuitems, i have a german sytem here), and
filling in a proxy, there will be this variable set. There is a
corresponding key in gconf, which doesnt have this extra comma.

The problem whith this is, wget is treating this extra comma as "ignore
everything" and the proxy will never be used.

I hope this helps.

[Bug 558300] [NEW] [gnome-network-properties] Adds an extra ", " at end of $no_proxy-variable

2010-04-08 Thread Gernod Winter
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release:10.04

gnome-control-center version: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu3

When setting the $no_proxy environment variable, gnome-control-center
adds an extra "," at the end, which prevents wget (and maybe others)
from working with an http-proxy.

** Affects: control-center (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 556301] Re: PolkitLockButton too wide, and shouldn't change size when unlocked

2010-04-06 Thread Gernod Winter
I see. Does the "Lock"-button and label have to be in this button box?
What if the PolkitlockButton is moved above? Or make this button more
descriptive with less text? Or move the label elsewhere?
