[Bug 553858] Re: [FFe] please pull zeromq from debian

2010-07-11 Thread Gert Burger
Zeromq 2.0.7 from http://packages.debian.org/source/sid/zeromq builds and
installs cleanly on my up to date Lucid.
All the example code I tried seemed to function properly. Pyzmq also built
cleanly from latest source and seems to function properly.

Having this in lucid backports would be a big help for us.

[Bug 507368] [NEW] adns version bump to 1.2.1 from 1.1.1

2010-01-14 Thread Gert Burger
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: python-adns

A new version of adns has been available for quite a while and it has
some new features that I believe a few people would appreciate.

Would it be possible for the newer version to be available in hardy
also?

Package source available at http://code.google.com/p/adns-
python/downloads/list

** Affects: python-adns (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

I just noticed that Debian testing already has a package for the new
version.

Should this then be a sync request?
