[Bug 568555] Re: AWN 0.4.0 Missing functionality/regression - can't move to another workspace
Hi there! I am using AWN 0.4.1 from Testing PPA. The function seems to be back! Useful function indeed. :) ** Changed in: avant-window-navigator (Ubuntu) Status: New = Fix Committed -- AWN 0.4.0 Missing functionality/regression - can't move to another workspace https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568555 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 625793] Re: Keyboard layout automatically changes + 100% CPU usage [updated]
This BUG is of a VERY High importance! I don't mean to offend anyone, but this is EXACTLY why people laugh at Ubuntu, pointing at its papercuts... and MANY OTHER BUGS THAT ARE more that 2-3 years old! Please, raise the importance of this bug, because it's bugging the hell out of my friends and me... Every time it happens(couple of times a day), we have to log out-in, as it won't go away... We have Maverick x86 with latest updates. Layouts: English + Georgian. [Bug 592016] Re: [Maverick] Sound is always muted on startup; unmuting makes the volume at lowest level
I think it got fixed after yesterday's(?) update... Everything's fine on my HP Pavilion, x32 Maverick Beta with latest updates... :) -- [Maverick] Sound is always muted on startup; unmuting makes the volume at lowest level https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/592016 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 549727] Re: [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login
@Will Miller oktapod: No problem! ;) Glad U guys resolved the issue! For those on whose machines the bug returns occasionally(it did on mine!) : I have added a keyboard shortcut via System-Preferences-Keyboard Shortcuts that had this command: gconftool-2 --set --type boolean /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true It just saves time U know... ;) Oh, BTW, I am on Maverick Meerkat x32 Beta. I confirm this. 10.04 LTS x64 system. [Bug 258559] Re: Changing volume with function keys hangs the system when Rhythmbox is in focus
Hi all! I am using HP Pavilion DV5 1000. It has a kind of sensor on the panel, to control the volume. Does exactly the same, as you've all said - freezes the whole system for around 15-25 seconds. If the Rythmbox window is NOT active - works fine. I confirm that the problem is still there in Lucid, x32 with all latest updates! Also, I confirm that disabling Assistive Technologies fixes it somehow... How are those related? And... How come this hasn't been fixed for so many years? [Bug 292751] Re: Random freezes completely lockup system in Intrepid, inspiron 6000
I am reporting that the SAME exact bug, as described in post #10 CONSTATNLY occurs on HP Pavilion DV5 1000 with Lucid Lynx x32 and all latest updates. It happens out-of-the-box too. I also have not found a pattern - it seems to be completely random. -- Random freezes completely lockup system in Intrepid, inspiron 6000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292751 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 549727] Re: [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login
@SDonatas, post #96 Are You SURE that U have the same 'symptoms'? Could You describe them? I'm starting to have a feeling that some ppl here are talking about a different bug with a different nature of it. Have You tried solutions @ post #93? post #87? #93 worked wonderfully! [Bug 549727] Re: [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login
I confirm same problem - touchpad not working after login... Before it worked just fine! After Login - stops working at all. Started about 3 days ago after an update (i THINK) HP Pavilion dv5 1000, Ubuntu Lucid x86, latest updates 2010-06-08. The modprobe thing helped but provided really raw functions - move cursor click... and I had to do it on every reboot. the thing that helped me, was running in terminal this: gconftool-2 --set --type boolean /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true from here: http://swiss.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9329991 It's given me my touchpad back! Even after a reboot - working just fine! [Thank U guys!] Please try this and respond... I guess this should solve the problem with touchpad not working after logon... -- [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549727 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 248355] Re: Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics
I would like to report the same thing happening on Lucid, Evince 2.30.0 Rendering *VERY* low quality bitmaps. Fixing this would be a wonderful improvement of Evince experience... Please look into this. Just take any PDF document with a bitmap inside.
