[Bug 665943] Re: Synaptic Package Manager Buttons Look Bad
The same happens here, Mint 10 freshly installed in 2 notebooks... I've found that the same happens in guake. See the attachments. ** Attachment added: "Guake buttons" https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/665943/+attachment/1745426/+files/guake.png -- Synaptic Package Manager Buttons Look Bad https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/665943 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 388923] Re: run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common exited with return code 10
This seems to be the same problem in these bugs: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-common/+bug/303795 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-common/+bug/292606 (Fix Released for Lucid) On a fully-updated Karmic I had the same problem while installing a custom kernel compiled with make-kpkg. Installing this package solved the problem: http://linux.dell.com/dkms/permalink/dkms_2.1.1.2-0ubuntu1_all.deb Hope this will help those who cannot upgrade to (still unstable) Lucid that uses the updated package. -- run-parts: /etc/kernel/postinst.d/nvidia-common exited with return code 10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/388923 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 292606] Re: dkms - error when installing custom kernel
Fix released for Lucid... What about Karmic? Shall I recompile/patch the package? I see that the version of dkms for Karmik is 2.1.0.1... Will be released a 2.1.1.2 for Karmic too? -- dkms - error when installing custom kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292606 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 432598] Re: can_suspend and can_hibernate values aren't respected
I suffer from this bug in a Karmic freshly installed. I edited the /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.devicekit.power.policy as stacktracer said but this is a workaround, not a real solution of this bug. Please confirm (if so) that even unchecking the can_hibernate and can_suspend box you still see the Hibernate and Suspend actions in the shutdown menu. -- can_suspend and can_hibernate values aren't respected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/432598 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 432598] Re: can_suspend and can_hibernate values aren't respected
@BavarianPH Fully updated Karmic and the bug still present... How did you fixed it?
