[Bug 945750] [NEW] Dragon Player wrecks other video players

2012-03-03 Thread Grasyop
Public bug reported:

I'm using Kubuntu 11.10 Oneiric and Dragon Player 2.0.

Here's the problem:

Start the computer and play a video with VLC or with Firefox + Xine-
plugin: it works fine.

Now, play a video (same or other) with Dragon Player: colors are false
(excessive contrast and saturation)

Now, without trying anything to fix colors in Dragon, close it and re-
open VLC or Firefox + Xine-plugin, and play again the first video:
colors are false! Excessive contrast and saturation, as in Dragon!

** Affects: ubuntu
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 338669] Re: (Needs UXA) painting artifacts after qt4.5 upgrade on intel chipset

2009-07-03 Thread Grasyop
I'd like to try it too, because this bug upsets me. But I read about
KDE 4.3 RC 1:

Note that these packages have a bug which causes X to die during the
upgrade. The upgrade will continue and you can reboot when it is done.

So, how do you know when the upgrade is done? What time would you wait
before rebooting?

I must correct what I said yesterday: I just got the bug in KWrite,
despite using QtCurve style.

Changing the style to QtCurve is a workaround of this bug for me.

But I just tried Oxygen again, and the bug is still there (under KDE
4.2.2).

My graphics card is :
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated
Graphics Device (rev 02)

Replacing Oxygene theme by Plastique would be a workaround for this bug,
but you then encounter another bug, even more annoying, this one:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178322

I didn't test the other themes. Oxygene is the default theme, so it
absolutely has to work. I agree with Jithin Emmanuel and am very angry
against Kubuntu team.

[Bug 152537] Re: After update from Feisty to Gutsy RC, print jobs fail: /usr/lib/cups/backend/mfp failed

2007-10-25 Thread Grasyop
I confirm the problem with AppArmor. I am using a Canon Pixma MP460 with
the drivers of the MP160. It worked on Feisty but it didn't anymore on
Gutsy and I had no error message. I ran sudo aa-complain cupsd and now
it works fine, even after rebooting.

[Bug 108673] Re: Region capture mode leaves artifacts

2007-10-25 Thread Grasyop
I also confirm the bug in Gutsy, with KSnapShot 0.7.
My hardware identifier : 317acd9700a2efadfc7cc4129bf03c41

I told about it in KDE Bug Tracking System, and they answered: This
seems to be a driver issue, report it to the ubuntu guys as there's
nothing I can do about it. It isn't a bug in ksnapshot.
