I also applied the latest bios to my DV5t-1000, suspend-to-ram now works flawlessly. Big thanks to everybody ! Hi, I am getting the same problem but with a HP Pavilion DV5. I was not able to resume from S3 state on Hardy Heron and now with Intrepid Ibex it is not working either. The hibernation works though. Unfortunately that means I cannot provide a power management trace as the hard drive/filesystem is not able to write anything on the disk. I have also a Dell XPS M1210. With 2.6.24-19.34-generic, it seems to suspend/resume most of the time. But sometimes it still resumes without a functioning keyboard and mouse. The power button seems to work though and I can do administration remotely using network and ssh. I have also heard this weird beep.
