[Bug 1566302] Re: Ubuntu 16.04: Suspend freezes the system after upgrade to linux image 4.4.0-16
Confirming: resume wasn't working on default 4.4.0 kernels in Xenial. Installed 4.4.11 mainline, and now it works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1566302 Title: Ubuntu 16.04: Suspend freezes the system after upgrade to linux image 4.4.0-16 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1566302/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 360963] Re: Amarok 2 kills sound for other apps
Can't speak for every supported LTS, but I haven't encountered this problem for a very long time, probably years (now on 12.04). Perhaps the problem is technically still there, but PA is more ubiquitous and reliable now. Support close. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360963 Title: Amarok 2 kills sound for other apps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/amarok2/+bug/360963/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 875546] Re: Unable to wake from suspend to RAM
I've had the same problem for as long as the reporter, with a very similiar hardware setup (same motherboard, and an nvidia card). The problem persists in 12.04. My workaround used to be to use a 10.04 kernel, but in 12.04, that no longer works. [Bug 659084] Re: 2.6.35-22-virtual is missing nfs modules
Awesome, that worked, thanks! In my own attempts I forgot about the dependencies and the depmod thing. For others following this recipe, replace ${nfsmods} with ${mods} (or vica versa). -- 2.6.35-22-virtual is missing nfs modules https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659084 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 659084] Re: 2.6.35-22-virtual is missing nfs modules
Good idea actually, but I can't get it to work. Copied the .ko-files for nfs, nfsd and nfs_common over from the -kernel deb, but they can't be loaded ("-1 Unknown symbol in module"). I don't want to risk further destabilisation, so I think I'll just wait it out. [Bug 92992] Re: Laptop speakers won't mute when using headphones
This problem has plagued me as long as I've owned this Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop, and still does in gutsy, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. lspci says soundcard is "00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)". The only way I've found to turn off the laptop speakers is to mute the "External Amplifier" in alsamixer, but that makes the sound very muffled and is not a solution. # cat /proc/asound/cards 0 [Intel ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel HDA Intel at 0xb000 irq 21 # aplay --list-devices List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: AD198x Analog [AD198x Analog] Subdevices: 0/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 6: Si3054 Modem [Si3054 Modem] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 >From 'lspci -vvnn': 00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller [8086:27d8] (rev 02) Subsystem: Lenovo Unknown device [17aa:2066] Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- Status: Cap+ 66MHz- UDF- FastB2B- ParErr- DEVSEL=fast >TAbort- SERR- https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92992 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
