[Bug 346854] [NEW] keyboard controls newly opened tab immediately, which isn't even visible

2009-03-22 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Tried this on intrepid and jaunty, and it affects both.

Steps to Reproduce:
1- Launch Nautilus
2- Open a directory in a new tab (using Right Click->Open in new Tab OR
Shift+Enter)
3- Use the keyboard arrow keys now, nothing happens because it affects the
selection in the inactive tab. To confirm that, press enter on the keyboard,
that'll open a file from the directory in the newly created tab.

Observations:
- Try step 2 on an empty directory (open an empty directory in a new tab), the
bug doesn't affect this case.

I have this bug too as I ran out of space, so I tried removing some packages
but I can't.
Shouldn't the package manager remove packages firstly , then do other
operations?

[Bug 335333] Re: volume control applet's inverted mouse wheel direction

2009-03-06 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
The bug still exists.
This probably will need the same fix of bug #314966 that you referred to.
But this one isn't in gnome-volume-control , it affects the applet itself, the
single channel controlled when you single click the applet.

[Bug 273535] Re: bluetooth always enabled since 2.6.27

2009-02-09 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
I have this problem on a freshly installed Jaunty (2.6.28), I don't have it on
an updated Intrepid (2.6.27) on the same machine.
on Jaunty, Bluetooth is alway on on startup, which isn't the behavior on
Intrepid.
It should remember the last configuration before shutdown/restart.
Is this the same bug or should I file a new one?

[Bug 321941] [NEW] Touchpad random movement and clicks

2009-01-27 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
Public bug reported:

Just installed Jaunty (Fresh Install), and the touchpad is becoming annoying.
While moving it suddenly moves in a different direction.

And Randomly when left clicking it middle clicks instead.
So randomly links open in new tabs in firefox, folders open in new tabs in
Nautilus, Tabs close when clicking their title, Random Copy/Paste when
clicking... etc.

Tried Enabling/Disabling Tabbing in Mouse Settings, but still the problem
exists.
I don't have this problem in Intrepid (up-to-date).
I have Acer Aspire 5610z [

[Bug 237030] [NEW] Google Reader without feeds in Prism package

2008-06-03 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: prism-google-reader

When I launch Google Reader from the Applications menu, only the header appears
and the Google Reader logo, and that's it, the feeds don't load (see screenshot
attached)
if I click settings or any other link it loads fine, it's just the feeds that
aren't loading.

However, when I launched Prism itself and added Google Reader manually
it worked fine.

[Bug 39856] Re: Panel in middle of the screen after reboot when not full-sized

2008-05-06 Thread Hassan Ibraheem
I'm using hardy (with all updates till my post) and my problem is very similar
to the ones mentioned,
the top unexpanded panel now always goes to the bottom when I re-login.
Everytime I login I must
1- Right click on the panel and check "Expand"
2- Change Orientation to "Top"
3- Uncheck "Expand"

I can't change the orientation unless it's expanded, if I choose "Top"
and it's not expanded, it overrides my selection with "Bottom" again
without doing anything.
