[Bug 1962542] Re: [jammy] Bluetooth headphones unable to connect after suspend in BlueZ 5.63
Regarding comment #17 and missing devices from rfkill, there was just a miscommunication. I meant that the bluetooth line has not changed, and only pasted that one. But in both cases (before/after suspend), I do see all three lines as mentioned in #17. Sorry for the unnecessary confusion. I'm also attaching a full journalctl -b0 log. Then regarding https://github.com/bluez/bluez/issues/272 and https://github.com/bluez/bluez/issues/220, I do not have a systemd coredump so doesn't look like 272 directly. I could try to downgrade to bluez 5.61 and see if that fixes the issue (I expect it does since it was working fine till recently), but sounds like it's fixed in 5.64 so I'll test this older version if really necessary :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1962542 Title: [jammy] Bluetooth headphones unable to connect after suspend in BlueZ 5.63 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bluez/+bug/1962542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1933828] Re: NTP servers from DHCP are not propagated to timesyncd
I've got this setup between two vms, where the server vm is hosting dnsmasq with ntp and the client synchronizes from the server (on a private network). This issue of the timesync conf needing to be updated exists in systemd-timesyncd too. But tackling the NetworkManager case as this is the customer issue.. we could put this fix in either networkd- dispatcher or network-manager. I've got a local build of network-manager that drops the file in place.. but needs to be tweaked. Should the 10-update-timesyncd file be put in place by networkd- dispatcher or network-manager? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933828 Title: NTP servers from DHCP are not propagated to timesyncd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1933828/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1933828] Re: NTP servers from DHCP are not propagated to timesyncd
I tried to reproduce this, to test the fix, but I am stuck trying to figure out how to manually set the ntp server. I can't see any difference between when the vm (with no network) has this /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/10-update-timesyncd file in place or not. I think that's good but maybe not so relevant without “seeing” the problem. I've been looking at the commands: ◇ systemctl status systemd-timesyncd ◇ timedatectl show ◇ timedatectl status I believe timedatectl is the way a user would interact with timesyncd and there's a timedatectl command to set the time zone or even time, but nothing to set the server. [Bug 1923642] Re: glib can no longer be included in extern "C" blocks
> Keeping the patches separate is good practice in that they might not all be accepted upstream at the same time. Ah that makes sense! > The master branch of the gnucash repo seems to only include the debian/ directory, not the upstream files. @Gunnar, Thanks! I didn't realize that the 4.6 that debian pulled fixes the issue. This comes as a result of the debian/rules being overhauled to use dh sequencer. Before the rules update, it had : export CPPFLAGS = $(shell dpkg-buildflags --get CPPFLAGS) \ -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 \ -UBUG_STAT_MISSING \ This block is gone in impish, so BUG_STAT_MISSING is no longer being undefined (it is defined over in the makefile.diff). [Bug 1926261] Re: PPTX is opened in Draw not in Impress
It seeems that this problem has been reported before: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/122653/why-is-it-opening-pptx- in-draw-instead-of-impress/ So I'd like to file a bug upstream with the pptx in question. [Bug 1925837] Re: New window pops up with webcam/mic icons
Also, there are no journalctl logs generated when this happens. And you can leave the new window with the icons there, or close it. Either way it doesn't seem to make a difference. If you leave it around, and then your webcam/mic usage is over (the meeting ended), then the icons window goes away. So the presence of the icons do indicate whether the webcam/mic are being used or not. If you close the window, you can still use your devices but there is no indication that they are in use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1925837 Title: New window pops up with webcam/mic icons To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1925837/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi Glen, I understand and we've all been there (installing stuff manually that comes to bite us later). Realistically, the best thing to do is to remove libreoffice and install it from the Ubuntu archive (apt). But I also understand you wanting to keep around what is already working for you. So can you give me a paste of the output of "dpkg -l | grep libreoffice"? It sounds like libreoffice is half installed (from apt's perspective).
