I had a look at Manjaro LXDE 16.03 released a few days ago. This is using Openbox 3.6.1. and Abiword 3.0.1 so the same as for Lubuntu Xenial. This bug was not present in the live session. [Bug 1424362] Re: no permissions to install or remove packages in vivid daily lubuntu beta 1
Just installed on disk Xubuntu - daily built 20150318 i386 and no problem there to install something with Ubuntu software center. Lubuntu Alpha 1 was OK, but for me the problem started with version 20150221. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1424362 Title: no permissions to install or remove packages in vivid daily lubuntu beta 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lubuntu-software-center/+bug/1424362/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1429531] Re: users-admin cannot create a new user in Lubuntu
This bug and #1424362 were likely introduced in the beta-versions of Lubuntu Vivid Vervet as alpha-versions both on my 32-bit and 64-bit systems do not show these even after being updated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1429531 Title: users-admin cannot create a new user in Lubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-tools/+bug/1429531/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1424362] Re: no permissions to install packages in vivid daily lubuntu beta 2
Just found the solution: Policykit Authentication Agent should be started manually under LXSessionconfiguration - Autostart . I have installed this now on my other spare machine (32-bit) and got the same bug. Also I noted now on both machines that it is not possible to change driver to nvidia.
