I'm adding it as a comment rather then an additional bug. When assigning shortcuts using System -> Preferances -> keyboard Shortcuts -> Run a terminal the same problem exists. It should exec x-terminal-emulator not gnome-terminal as it does currently. I have however not found where to change this yet. -- terminal in main menu is linked to gnome-terminal not x-terminal-emulator https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114826 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 114826] terminal in main menu is linked to gnome-terminal not x-terminal-emulator
Public bug reported: when you change your x-terminal-emulator using update-alternatives the function of applications -> Accessories -> terminal should be to open the selected terminal. Instead it opens gnome-terminal all the time. This should change to exec x-terminal-emulator shell which is linked to the selected terminal emulator as per update-alternatives. ** Affects: gnome-desktop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- terminal in main menu is linked to gnome-terminal not x-terminal-emulator https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114826 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 70146] Re: [SRU] libnss-ldap for edgy-proposed: Problem with LDAPS
Using the linbss_ldap-2.4 does allow you to auth on feisty .. but seg faults on pretty much everything after that .. so obviously this is not a desirable fix. Will look into other options to get this working .. -- [SRU] libnss-ldap for edgy-proposed: Problem with LDAPS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/70146 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Using the edgy libnss_ldap librarty on feisty works as well :) Can this be fixed in feisty :) Cheers -- [SRU] libnss-ldap for edgy-proposed: Problem with LDAPS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/70146 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 70146] Re: [SRU] libnss-ldap for edgy-proposed: Problem with LDAPS
This seems to happen in feisty as well. Same problem with host/uri in config as well, host works, uri does not. Going to try and roll back to LTS version to test if the hanging can be resolved as well. currently testing on libnss-ldap version 251-7.5 on feisty -- [SRU] libnss-ldap for edgy-proposed: Problem with LDAPS https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/70146 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
