[Bug 1490241] [NEW] Access of text geometry

[Bug 797819] [NEW] unity launcher appears when dragging something
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity The unity launcher appears every time when dragging something in any application, even if a window is in fullscreen mode. This is sometimes cumbersome in some applications. For instance in Shotwell (fullscreen) when drag drop photos to a tag. Or in banshee (fullscreen) when drag drop a song to a playlist. Or in FontManager (fullscreen, https://code.google.com/p/font-manager/) when drag drop a font to a collection. All these programmes have a sidebar on the left and the unity launcher makes this sidebar less visible. So it is hard to find out where to drop. I know that the appearing of the launcher is a feature to drop something to a programme icon, but in fullscreen mode it would be better if the laucher first appears if the mouse pointer is on the left boarder of the screen or maybe on the top left corner as it is if an application is in fullscreen mode. [Bug 777898] [NEW] massive graphics problems
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nvidia-current After upgrading to Natty I have massive graphics problems. I hope this is the right place for this problem. Maybe this is related to Xorg, too. As I read on the Nvidia website the drivers are suitable for my graphics card. 1. Moving and resizing windows is extremely slow with nvidia-current (nvidia-current - 270.41.06-0ununtu1) activated. With nvidia-173 (nvidia-173 - 173.14.30-0ubuntu1) moving windows is acceptable but resizing is still poor. 2. Returning back from screensaver to session the screen left black (nvidia-current - 270.41.06-0ununtu1). Only the mouse pointer is visible. I have to restart ubuntu. 3. I tried both nvidia driver from jockey, nvidia-current - 270.41.06-0ununtu1 (not feasible) and nvidia-173 - 173.14.30-0ubuntu1. nvidia-173 is feasible but there are strange artefacts on the desktop (black and white stripes) when returning back from suspend mode. These artefacts are in some windows, for example the whole banshee window has these artefacts when it is in full screen mode, minimizing and then maximizing banshee resolves this issue. If there is no window open then the background has these artefacts, restarting nautilus solves this issue, the background image is then visible again. A screen shot can be downloaded at http://test.create3000.de/Bildschirmfoto.png;. With Maverick I had no problems at all with graphics. The graphics driver I used from jockey was NVIDIA 260.19.06. Have it too after upgrade. But there is not ruler issue in Gimp. They seemed to use standard Gtk2 rulers. [Bug 666879] [NEW] Please do a gtk_widget_set_name
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor Hello, I'd really appreciate if you could do a gtk_widget_set_name (http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/GtkWidget.html#gtk-widget- set-name) to the app window, so it can be styled from a gtkrc file. E.g. set the name of the app Window to gnome-system-monitor. This is easy to implement, and would be very nice.
