[Bug 583797]
With the removal of the Quit warning dialog on OS X this bug is kinda annoying because shortcuts to close tabs and the browser itself are directly beneath each other. It happens so often for me that I accidentally close the whole browser when I'm trying to close a tab. With a lot of tabs open it takes a long time to shutdown and restart, in most cases I loose about 4-5 minutes. I will ask for blocking so we can sort out what should happen for Fx4 and what not. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/583797 Title: "Warn on closing with multiple tabs open" not honored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/583797/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 297143]
Interesting that this bug is still marked as unconfirmed. I can clearly see it myself on my laptop running Ubuntu 14.04. It's not that clear to me yet when it directly starts but it might have something to do with hibernation. When it occurs the CPU load of Xorg and compiz is raising up to 60% and stays at this level until the application gets closed. In my case it is mostly Thunderbird. I have updated to Ubuntu 14.10 now, and will closely watch this problem over the next couple of days to maybe find a pattern to reproduce. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297143 Title: Xorg eats processor cycles while waiting for slow Internet To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/297143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

(In reply to Vlad [QA] from comment #85) If the target milestone set for this bug is mozilla 10, in order to verify this bug, it's enough if I update from an older nightly build to the latest one and check that no add-ons are missing or I have to follow some additional steps? (In reply to Chimel from comment #50) It would be great if you could create a test add-on that users can update locally to try and repro this type of bug, instead of relying on actual add-ons that may or may not have been updated.
