[Bug 994887] Re: Nodes listing does not support sorting

2012-10-25 Thread Huw Wilkins
There's a UI issue with the committed change that I did not pick up
until I used it in that the "MAC" column header is used to sort the
hostname. This doesn't really make sense.

To be able to sort by hostname we need to find a more sensible approach.

@flacoste, this was a direct request from Mark. Matthew says Mark has
since seen the hostname addition and Matthew is chasing up which course

[Bug 367877] Re: Tabbing between links does not highlight them

2010-08-09 Thread Huw Wilkins
This is the result of 'outline' being set to 'none' in the css (in
combo.css). It's common when doing a css reset to turn remove the
outline on links. However, as Alan picked up, this isn't so good for
accessibility. There are two ways to go about fixing this.

Option A:
Re-apply the outline after the reset. This would set a uniform style across all
browsers.

Option B:
Remove the original outline reset. This would then use the browser default for
active items.

I would recommend option B. This is a case where using the browser
default is a good thing. Some browsers signify that an item is active
with quite different styles and it's probably better to give the user
the feedback that they are used to (for example, compare the way Chrome
and Firefox do this). Looking at the CSS I can't see a particular reason
this is being reset, and removing this shouldn't affect anything else.

I can submit a patch for this, but I just wanted to confirm this
decision before I do...

[Bug 90784] Re: quicksynergy crash on boot

2007-03-26 Thread Huw Wilkins
I can confirm this (although I'm running feisty). Synergy (terminal
client/server) works, but Quicksynergy will only crash.

To duplicate this open Quicksynergy and click start under server
(with/without entering ip addresses). It doesn't crash when running
client though.

[Bug 62116] Firefox / Can't Import Bookmarks

2006-09-23 Thread Huw Wilkins
Public bug reported:

I am running Edgy with latest Firefox straight from the repositories.
However when I try to import bookmarks from a file it will not let me
click "next" (greyed out). I am trying through the Bookmarks Manager:
Bookmarks > Organise Bookmarks... then File > Import... and selecting
>From File, but nothing happens.

I'm not sure what other info I can give you at this point.

Cheers.
