[Bug 1964670] [NEW] [mk-sbuild] still requests pkg-config-$target_tuple

2022-03-12 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
Public bug reported:

The cross pkg-config packages don't exist anymore, but mk-sbuild still attempts
to install it for cross-compilations.
pkg-config-$target_tuple was removed in
https://salsa.debian.org/toolchain-team/gcc-defaults/-/commit/b1e452e249846782e25dc29f62762ebc23ca1633
and hirsute was the last release to have it.

The package also apparently never existed for Debian, so creating cross-
compilation chroots probably never worked for Debian.

It's probably okay to simply remove pkg-config-$target_tuple from
https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-dev-tools/tree/mk-
sbuild?h=ubuntu%2Fdevel#n694

[Bug 1473527] Re: module ssh-authkey-fingerprints fails Input/output error: /dev/console

2021-04-19 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
This also affects .ova cloud-image deployments on ESXi/vSphere, not surprising
since it's similar to what John describes in comment 15. I think this is caused
by the kernel parameter console=ttyS0 and the underlying VM having no serial
port. This should not fail cloud-init and a similar bug was fixed in #1573095.
Commit b794d426b9ab43ea9d6371477466070d86e10668 introduces a stdout fallback
when /dev/console does not exist. How about doing that fallback also when
writing fails?

[Bug 1473691] [NEW] Update to latest upstream stable release (3.5)

2015-07-11 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
Public bug reported:

Squid's latest stable upstream version is currently 3.5.6 and fixes
important bugs, such as the inability to fall back to IPv4 if a websites
IPv6 connectivity is broken (e.g. http://readlist.com/lists/squid-
cache.org/squid-users/11/58389.html). Please update the package from
3.3.8 to 3.5.6, or, at the very least, update it to version 3.4.8 that
Debian already has in its stable distribution (Jessie, and Wheezy
backports too).

Question 268037 already asked the same - here's the filed bug.

[Bug 1270692] Re: Adding SIP account fails

2014-04-05 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
Lars, I've just reinstalled Ubuntu's Jitsi package on amd64 and I cannot
reproduce the problem with verifying the certificate nor with resolving
the java dependency (using both Gnome Flashback and Ubuntu Default
Desktop).

In any case, the above problems would be (a) completely bug(s). If you
can reproduce the certificate window issue, please send your logs over
to d...@jitsi.org.

[Bug 1270692] Re: Adding SIP account fails

2014-03-28 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
Bug 894302 was fixed on 24 Mar 2014 and with liblog4j1.2-java
(1.2.17-4ubuntu3) Jitsi now starts correctly, adding a SIP account is
also fine.

[Bug 894302] Re: jar files do not include OSGi metadata

2014-03-08 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
The mandatory attribute "Bundle-SymbolicName: log4j" is still missing
from the manifest and the fix is therefore incomplete.

The Jitsi version should not matter. Could you please verify that the
package liblog4j1.2-java is version 1.2.17-4ubuntu2? I haven't had the
time yet to install a new Trusty VM.

[Bug 1271075] Re: account wizard in jitsi just hangs

2014-01-21 Thread Ingo Bauersachs
I have no explanation yet why this happens, but switching away from the
dialog to any other window and then back makes it functional. Contrary
to comment #2, this also happens when built using ant make.
