Control-L doesn't work for me either. Obviously, there is either something wrong with the code, or there is a hidden setting buried somewhere that is still set. My Nautilus is stuck where I have a location bar (i've unchecked always_use_location_entry), and I can never get the breadcrumbs back, no matter what I hit. I got Yahoo to connect if I changed the port from the default 5050 to 80. (I still haven't fixed the other protocols yet). I assume that the problem is with my router's configuration; is there a guide as to which ports I need to open? Also, do I have any other alternatives, as I have multiple machines running behind NAT. I did check, and I had uPNP turned off, so I enabled it, but no difference.
