[Bug 1904700] Re: Mouse settings not reapplied after reconnect or resume
Indeed, I forgot to point that out: the settings in the configuration panel stay correct: to switch back to 'Right' as the primary button, I have to first select 'Left', so I can then select 'Right' again. I could probably fix it by hooking some xinput commands into the proper udev event, but since it seems to be a regression, I was hoping someone knowledgeable might realize the underlying issue, and come up with a better fix :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1904700 Title: Mouse settings not reapplied after reconnect or resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1904700/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1904700] [NEW] Mouse settings not reapplied after reconnect or resume
Public bug reported: I upgraded from 18.04 to 20.04 and notice that my mouse settings (I mouse lefthanded) are no longer restored/reapplied when I reconnect its usb receiver (gets disconnected due to use of KVM switch) or when resuming (after suspend). I now have to reselect the right button as my primary every time. [Bug 1365695] [NEW] No longer able to use GUI after update
Public bug reported: Until yesterday the 14.04 install on this Thinkpad T530 (nvidia Optimus) with nvidia-331 drivers worked just fine, including excellent multi- monitor behavior. Yesterday the set of packages below [1] was updated. I shut down, booted this morning and found out that I was not shown the lightdm login screen: I was stuck at the purple screen that precedes it (into which I enter my disk encryption password). Now the funny thing is that I could hear the lightdm startup sound and could actually login by typing my password (disk activity and started processes verify I am actually logged in), but I can't see anything: I'm still stuck at the puple screen. Uninstalling the nvidia drivers solved the problem: I'm typing this in a browser window using the nouveau drivers. I atttempted switching to nvidia-304, but that doesn't work either. Using those drivers I am shown the lightdm login screen, but after logging in I'm stuck with a screen showing only the background image. Nothing else is available, no keyboard or mouse trickery will reveal any menu, dialog or terminal to gain access. Since nouveau doesn't support a multi-monitor setup, it would be great if I someone could tell me how to get the nvidia drivers working again. [Bug 1126626] [NEW] Performance of rt2800usb module in 3.5.0 abysmal (used by RT3072 chipset)
Public bug reported: After switching from linux-image-3.2.0-37 to linux-image-3.5.0-23, I noted the performance of my wireless network became awful (~1/10th of my regular ~3 Mbps). Several reboots and crosschecks with other devices confirmed that the kernel is to blame. My wireless device: Bus 002 Device 003: ID 148f:3072 Ralink Technology, Corp. I tried that and although the driver installs, loads and even connects to my accesspoint just fine, it subsequently immediately freezes the 3.5 kernel. [Bug 990543] [NEW] After upgrade from oneiric to precise, mysqld fails to start due to missing apparmor 'local' usr.sbin.mysqld config file
Public bug reported: I just upgraded a machine from oneiric to precise, after which mysqld failed to start. A `touch /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.myqld` solved the problem. I've never touched any apparmor configs myself, so I doubt it was due to some peculiarity in my usage of apparmor.
