[Bug 1852183]
@Larry, Mutter is not part of LibreOffice, it is part of your distribution. There is a bug report against Mutter on Ubuntu bug tracker : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1852183 As reported there, this bug does not only impact LibreOffice. As read in the launchpad bug report, the Mutter bug seems fixed in its 3.36.2 version. Best regards. [Bug 1745826] [NEW] grub update fails because new version of shim want remove shim-signed package
Public bug reported: I use Ubuntu 16.04 with proposed repository activated. Now there is an update of grub packages which fails: - grub-common - grub-efi-amd64 - grub-efi-amd64-bin - grub-efi-amd64-signed - grub2-common - shim This update want change shim package from version 0.9+1474479173.6c180c6-1ubuntu1 to version 13-0ubuntu2. Update manager fails to do the update but Synaptic says me that if I do this change it needs to remove shim-signed package. [Bug 254655]

Help says: "If no whole cell is selected and the cursor is at the end of the table, the paragraph following the table will be deleted, unless it is the last paragraph in the document." In current stable version, this shortcut works as designed. You can't remove the last paragraph of the document, but you can have a table covering the entire page without a line after the table. [Bug 1389858] Re: Libreoffice calc 4.2.7-0ubuntu1 not updating references after sort
Hi Bjoern, I didn't say the contrary, I said that, with LO 4.3.4.0.0+ and LO 4.4.0.0.alpha1+, it works too as expected if the option is set to false. It should be the same in LO 4.2.7 because the value false for the option is intended to be there for backward compatibility. So if it does not work as expected with option set to false, it is a bug. [Bug 1389858] Re: Libreoffice calc 4.2.7-0ubuntu1 not updating references after sort
I think that the issue described here has nothing to do with the value of the option UpdateReferenceOnSort (see bugs fdo#81309 and fdo#81633). Indeed when tested in the master (version 4.4.0.0.alpha1) it works as expected (behavior of LO 4.2.6.3) whatever the value of the option is. Same thing in LO 4.3.4.0.0+. Best regards. [Bug 1376326]
This odt file has been created by conversion from a .doc file. You can verify this point by checking the names of numbering styles, you will find style names like WW8Num1 which are WinWord8 style names. If you open the Navigator to examine the objects of this document, you will see that there is 10 hidden tables. AFAIK LibreOffice does not have the ability to hide a table. I suggest 2 ways to try to fix the problem: 1/ unzip the .odt and remove the hidden tables from the content.xml and compress the file again. 2/ come back to the original .doc file with MS-Word, make sure that all objects included in the document are not hidden, save the file under another name in both formats doc and docx. Convert these new files to .odt using the current stable "Fresh' version of LibreOffice. Best regards. (In reply to comment #14) > [...] > I doubt anyone just wants to start the application. One wants to create a > document or presentation or... So, to be consistent, you should commit a patch to remove the StartCenter, including for the MS-Windows version. Very strange idea to remove the visibility of the StartCenter when we create a new one. If Linux distributions maintainers do not want give the access to the StartCenter and the Math module, they can do that in their distro build without deciding for all Linux users. Best regards. (In reply to comment #32) > IMHO not resolved. > > OS: Windows XP > LO: 3.5.0 beta2 Fix will be in beta3 because it is already in beta2+ where it works well (LibreOffice 3.5.0beta2+ Version ID : 746cde4-7f15fca-1fc8c06-ca8e46d-b96fade). Setting back as fixed. Best regards. [Bug 227895]
In LO 3.5.0 beta2+ (LibreOffice 3.5.0beta2+ Version ID : 8f03437 -7f15fca-1fc8c06-ca8e46d-b96fade) the frames are there but with zero height: I can see two fine lines which can be expanded as frame when I select them. Miklos: I don't know if you are aware of this bug report. So feel free to reassign if you can't handle it. Best regards. AFAIK it is not the correct behavior to have the button Data table activated inside Calc. This button is useful when you insert your chart in a text document using copy-paste. All works as expected in LibO 3.4.4 under Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64 with FR langpack. Please try again with the current release. Best regards. [Bug 712725] Re: NLPSolver extension not available
Hi Fabian, Yes of course this bug affects the PPA-installed version. There is no package for this extension in the PPA although NLPSolver is a bundled extension in vanilla version (as pdfimport, Presenter Console, etc.). Best regards. [Bug 712725] [NEW] NLPSolver extension not available
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libreoffice Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64, LibreOffice 3.3. In vanilla builds of LibreOffice, extension NLPSolver (non-linear solver for Calc) is installed as bundled extension. It is not the case for the Ubuntu version. Installing thise extension from OpenOffice.org repository is possible and works fine but the NLPSolver coming with the vanilla version has been localized. So it is a pity that not have a nice localized non-linear solver in Calc. Best regards.
