[Bug 771857] Re: Realtek 8168B (r8169) interface not working following suspend
I have the same issue on Arch Linux (Antergos actually) kernel 4.4.43-1-lts. Just wanted to add my workaround: user@arch>$ sudo ethtool -s enp4s0f2 duplex full Cannot advertise duplex full And it usually works again. Sometimes I have to add the following too because it's not always enough: user@arch>$ sudo ethtool -s enp4s0f2 duplex half Cannot advertise duplex half I suppose this should be reported to whoever wrote the r8169 driver (thanks to them by the way!), not here. Hope that helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771857 Title: Realtek 8168B (r8169) interface not working following suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/771857/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1651475] [NEW] grub installation to volume boot record fails
Public bug reported: I'm trying to install the grub bootloader through Ubiquity on an unencrypted partition (/dev/sda3) which is 20MBB. The /boot is supposed to be in the encrypted LUKS container along with /root (in /dev/sda4 mapped at /dev/mapper/root_crypt for example). During ubiquityinstallation, I can select /dev/sda3 which is neat. However, it then crashes saying it failed to install grub on that particular partition (ext4). I don't see any output in terminal when starting ubiquity from there. Error popup is: "Executin 'grub-install /dev/sda3' failed. This is a fatal error." Suggestion: have the option NOT to install any bootloader at all, in the Bootloader installation drop-down menu (during manual install). That way, users can manually install the grub bootloader anywhere they want, and add any additional arguments if necessary (--force for example, in case of a VBR). [Bug 1651462] [NEW] Stalling if not formating LUKS volumes (Kubuntu 16.10)
Public bug reported: I'm installing on LUKS encrypted volumes. I have them already opened (cryptsetup luksOpen) and listed in /dev/mapper. They are already formated with mkfs.ext4. Then in ubiquity, if I don't tick the "format" option, the installer will consistently stalls at the step "Saving packages" (in the bottom right hand corner). There is no more disk activity from there. I have to kill the ubiquity process. If I restart ubiquity, and do the same steps but this time I tick "format" on every volume I plan to use (and later mount as /home, /var, etc.) then it works fine. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: format luks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1651462 Title: Stalling if not formating LUKS volumes (Kubuntu 16.10) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1651462/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1387129] Re: xpdf does not read config file
I have the same issue. Did exactly what lmanickum mentioned and it's clear that anything written in xpdfrc is ignored, no matter where it's located. A bit annoying.
