[Bug 563555] Re: no mouse cursor

2010-05-09 Thread JQ
I upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04.My cursor become invisible. Each time I
have to open Terminal, type a few things and the mouse cursor will
appear.I use ctrl-alt-F1 then ctrl-alt-F7 then the mouse cursor will
appear. It is hard to use without the mouse cursor.May have to revert
back to 9.10 if the problem is not solve.Boot time is not fast, system
feel sluggish when opening 2 or 3 windows. My system is a Pentium 1.8
with 768 RAM.Is the sluggish feel got anything to do with not having
enough RAM in it to run 10.04?What is the minimum hardware requirement
for 10.04 to run smoothly? With all the problems at the moment,i dare not
update my another pc(Dell Vostro) to 10.04.

Re: [Bug 350118] Re: Firefox crash after a while of use on Ubuntu 6.10

2009-03-29 Thread JQ
Hi John,
I would love to upgrade to Hardy or Intrepid but as my system is an old Pentium
4 with Intel D845 board which I can't found any support beside 6.10 which have
everything the board need to make it work. Moreover I am just a beginner, so
would found a lot of diffculties installing Hardy or Intrepid unless you are
able to assist if I have problems. As for reporting the bug using apport, can
you advise a step by step on how to report?

Thanks for everything
JQ

April 24th I urge you to upgrade to Hardy or Intrepid so you can have
the latest packages nad security fixes.

[Bug 235509] Re: Incorrect RFC 2047 decoding

2008-07-03 Thread JQ
Yes, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=536457 is a better match.

Anyway, I attached two screenshots (in a .tar) for the same message in
different "views". One screenshot is for the gmail-imap view when the fields
are not displayed properly. And one for the local-folder view when the fields
are displayed well. Note that the "Message Preview" shows the fields properly
in both cases. And here you are a clip from the message source (some chars
masked with x)
--- clip ---
From: =?UTF-8?Q?Dxxk=2C_Bxxs=2C_VxxU?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: =?UTF-8?Q?Txxk=2C_Mxxn=2C_VxxU?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
--- clip ---

So is it then a gmail bug?

[Bug 235509] Re: Incorrect RFC 2047 decoding

2008-06-26 Thread JQ
I think, the quoted text from RFC is not apply to this issue.

What I experienced is that the mail source showed that the To filed was
encoded (ISO-8859-1). However, Evolution did not decode the encoded
header field, Evolution just displayed it as is, starting with
'=?ISO-8859-1?Q?' and ending with '?='.
