2007-09-02 Thread James Hyland
This happens to me also, with my nvidia GeForce 5200 FX2Go, except I
only need to launch firefox and have it maximized and it goes black,
same with Banshee.

[Bug 109921] Gaim doesn't auto resize buddy icon's for the different networks

2007-04-25 Thread James Hyland
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gaim

Different instant messenger networks use a different sized buddy icon.
If you want to use the same image for different networks you manually
need to resize it, gaim should be able to resize the image on the fly
for the different networks instead of just complaining about the
difference in the scale.

** Affects: gaim (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Unconfirmed

[Bug 9318] Re: Firefox Uses Incorrect Icon

2006-10-02 Thread James Hyland
I think we need to try and use the official name and brandings. Firefox
is becoming a recognisable brand on windows machines. By having it in
ubuntu, we help ease the transition to linux.
