[Bug 33372] Re: Cannot wake up from suspend and hibernate

2007-10-20 Thread Jason Fischer
Have a Toshiba Satellite A130 running 7.10. Hibernate works great,
suspend works great as well as long as I don't have compiz stuff
enabled. Using the regular desktop manager I can suspend/recover just
fine, including my wireless. Running compiz basic or advanced I just
get the black screen and have to power down.

Let me know if I can provide you with more information.

I have a related problem on a Toshiba Satellite A130. The ipw3945 card

Everything comes up fine eventually, but it booted much faster before

[Bug 89800] External video not working on Toshiba Satellite A130 in Feisty

2007-03-04 Thread Jason Fischer
Public bug reported:

Pushing Fn-F5 on Toshiba Satellite A130 doesn't cause video to appear on
any externally connected monitor (S-Video or VGA). Works fine in
Windows Vista.

Problem is apparently caused by Phoenix BIOS not being properly
supported. Bluetooth and other built-in hardware not functioning
correctly either. Using Omnibook kernel module I was able to get
Bluetooth working, but other hardware functions are not available.

DMI info from Omnibook:
BIOS Vendor: TOSHIBA
BIOS Version: V1.10
BIOS Release: 12/08/2006
System Vendor: TOSHIBA
Product Name: Satellite A130
Version: PSAD3U-02N01R
